Messages Reveal the late financier and former Trump strategist Connection

In late 2018, Steve Bannon, formerly a top aide to Donald Trump, was in the UK to deliver a address at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by numerous demonstrators, and Bannon, scheduled to travel that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an message: "Activists delayed my talk don't think I can make the flight we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein responded: "That. Is a Gulf Air that leaves at 950 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "You are an excellent assistant".

These messages were released on this week together with over 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the late financier convicted of sex crimes.

The release by the Congressional committee contains an text conversation where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets has been able to establish his identity by matching the dates, occurrences, and locations referenced.

For example, Epstein talks about chartering a plane from Scotland for the unnamed individual in the chat, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and gave the talk at the Oxford on November 16.

Bannon, who is not accused of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the request for comment.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon was one of Trump's closest aides in the run up to the presidential election and during the initial phase of his first administration, but resigned from the White House in 2017.

He has admitted he was producing a film about Epstein before his death and reportedly has approximately 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his podcast earlier this year, he stated: "We're going to release the series, the five-part series, next year - at the start of next year."

But the newly released documents indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein went further than being his biographer, with the convicted paedophile occasionally appearing to serve like a personal assistant.

A few days prior to the conversation in which Epstein seemed to booked a private plane for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "what's it like to have the most highly paid booking agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r pretty good asst", to which Epstein replied "Massages. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "AD" in a separate text, Epstein told Bannon: "I'll make sure you're well looked after."

British Affairs Discussed in Exchanges

The released communications also show Bannon and Epstein discussing British political matters in that year.

On the same day his address at the Oxford, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this morning with Nigel, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a allusion to Theresa May, the struggling UK prime minister at the period, he continued: "They are trying to proceed. May soon…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "I think staying as much as you can uk. Best-- so people see the commitment of your follow through."

Soon after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa may remain in power". Bannon answered: "I don't see how BUT the guys over here have little courage" and noted "Johnson ; Michael Gove; Jacob Rees-Mogg; Davis - someone has to step up".

Theresa May was eventually removed in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of no confidence in late 2018.

A representative for Reform UK informed media: "Nigel Farage has never been in a gathering with Steve Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest that encounter took place.

The Congress will decide soon on whether the Department of Justice should make public all its records related to its investigation into Epstein, who passed away in jail in 2019.

Interest in Epstein's associations with influential individuals was reignited this week after the release of over 20,000 pages from his estate.
